From the collection of Pulitzer Prize nominee and historian Gloria Grace Griffen. Withdrawn from the University of Nevada Gloria Grace Griffen Western American Collection, with a bookplate identifying as much adhered to front paste down.

    A clean and square copy, binding sound, a few penciled in remarks from previous owner add to the charm of this vintage travel guide; scarce dust jacket has large chips and open tears and is now preserved in an archival mylar cover.

    Frances Toor was an American author, publisher, anthropologist and ethnographer whose books and journal Mexican Folkways introduced Americans to the folk traditions and art of revolutionary Mexico.
